The Grand Rapids Jaycees Foundation supports the annual Special Olympics Michigan State Basketball finals with a monetary grant while the Grand Rapids Jaycees Chapter manages the volunteers and organization of the games in conjunction with the Special Olympics Michigan Staff.

If you would like to contribute to Special Olympics Michigan, please join the Grand Rapids Jaycees Foundation for our 2nd annual Big John Kahuna Classic golf event. The Big John Kahuna Classic is organized in memory of Grand Rapids Jaycees Past President and Special Olympic Michigan volunteer / emcee, John Schelling. The event is scheduled for Monday, June 25, 2007 at Thornapple Pointe in Grand Rapids. Proceeds from the event benefit Special Olympics Michigan through your participation in a fun-filled day of golf and fellowship.
